Element 5: Understanding Money

The last of the Five Elements of Recalibration is money – the economic equivalent of oxygen to life. Without money, much of life dreams are unfulfilled. There is nothing unfortunate, or evil about this fact. In fact, just as God created the planet with very specific laws of physics and nature, so did He establish laws of economy. It is vital that we not fight against this God-ordained natural law, but rather embrace it, grow in our understanding of it, and then apply our knowledge for the benefit of the kingdom, as well as providing for our own families.

Unfortunately, too often Christians act as if they want God to suspend the laws of economics in order that they may obtain life’s bounty without paying for it. That kind of thinking is really no more absurd than asking God to suspend the law of gravity, so that getting around is easier and more comfortable.  Instead of grumbling that we lack the financial resources we want, we should concentrate more on how to acquire the knowledge more adequately address our financial needs. The knowledge is certainly available. The question is a matter of will.
